LENG YEN was founded in Malaysia
On November 8, 2000, LENG YEN was officially registered as a company in Batu Pahat, marking a significant step towards standardized development. Post-registration, we established a more comprehensive management system, attracting more local and regional clients, and steadily increasing our business volume. We also strengthened cooperation with suppliers to ensure stable raw material quality, providing customers with higher-quality screen printing products.
Today, LENG YEN proudly serves clients across all of Malaysia, from north to south, and extends its logistics capabilities to international markets worldwide. Whether you’re based in Johor, Kuala Lumpur, or overseas, our production and delivery network ensures your order arrives fast and in top condition.
Our Journey: From Humble Beginnings to Growth
Crafting by Hand: The Early Days of Screen Printing
In the early 1980s, Mr. Goh worked at a small local printing workshop located on the second floor of a shop. Despite the limited space, it was filled with energy.
Mr. Goh manually screen-printed T-shirts and socks without machines, relying solely on self-made wooden frames and mesh fabrics, using squeegees to press ink. Although efficiency was low, he was passionate about the craft, producing increasingly refined patterns that customers loved.
In 1991, Mr. Goh founded LENG YEN Silkscreen Enterprise, continuing to accept orders through manual screen printing. The initial phase was challenging, with few orders and intense competition. Manual efficiency was low, leading to customer complaints about slow delivery. Mr. Goh persevered, improving techniques and gradually securing orders from local schools and communities, with custom screen-printed socks and T-shirts becoming the main products.
In 1996, Mr. Goh took a loan to purchase the first semi-automatic screen printing machine and established a factory. Efficiency tripled, quality became more stable, and order volume increased significantly. Recognition in the local market improved, with small businesses and event organizers becoming primary clients.
In the 2000s, LENG YEN focused on screen printing technology, developing special techniques like puff printing and color-changing screen printing, attracting more clients. Collaborations with garment factories in Singapore, Malaysia, the United States, Vietnam, and other countries led to custom T-shirts, socks, backpacks, and more. Clients appreciated our unique screen printing effects, expanding our brand influence.
Boosting Efficiency and Quality Through Technology
Over time, we have continuously invested in advanced production facilities to ensure product quality and production efficiency align with contemporary standards.
Recognizing the importance of technological upgrades, we have recently introduced multiple automated screen printing machines and intelligent cutting equipment, significantly reducing the production time for custom T-shirts.
